One of my favorite LTC swaps that I periodically host is  Surprise! In order to take part in the swap, the participants must carve a new stamp and then gift the stamp to someone else as a surprise. The following cards feature some of the stamps that I’ve gifted to other boxers in the past.

Trick or Treat

Trick or Treat

This first card was a stamp carved as a surprise gift for Angel of Angel Treads who’s a big fan of (wait for it…) Angels. I sent it to her a little bit before Halloween (but I bet you guessed that).

Jiffy was First!

Jiffy was First!

This next one is a First Finder signature stamp variant that I carved for Jiffy. Now whenever she wins the race to a new box, she’ll be able to show off her fabulous first finding skills!

Bubbaloo And Tigger Too!!!

Bubbaloo And Tigger Too!!!

Those crazy kids, Tiggermama and Bubbaloo Magoo, have a fun little blogspot blog. This stamp was carved for Tiggermama to celebrate her blog and to cheer her up a little bit after a rather nasty exposé on her killer hiking shoes!

Geo Swag

I couldn’t carve for Tiggermama and leave Bubbs without a little something. This card features one of Bubbaloo Magoo’s favorite activities — torturing Tigs with snakes!

The Radical Teacup

The Radical Teacup

Teacup’s pretty radical. If there’s a box in Maine, she’s probably found it! This was a fun little stamp to carve.

Don't Blink

Don’t Blink

Finally, this card features one of the scariest (the scariest?) monsters in Doctor Who — the Weeping Angels, carved for SWGS, a fellow Whovian.

Weeping angels live life in a quantum state between being alive and being stone. As long as they’re being observed, they’re harmless statues; the kind you might see guarding old buildings and cemeteries. When no one’s looking, they come for you!

So, if you ever see a weeping angel — DON’T BLINK!

Maybe it’s time to host another Surprise! swap. Who would you like to surprise with a fun new stamp?

P.S. An image of an angel becomes itself an angel, so seriously, DON’T BLINK!

It’s very sweet that you do this for other people! I like to do them from time to time too, but I do them a little different. One of my favorites was this one:
I may have to do another surprise idea myself…

All of those are such nice carves and gifts. It sure sounds like a fun LTC swap. I have the Weeping Angels stamp in my book and it is AWESOME!
