LTC CLUE is a fun online game where LTC designers create a set of cards to represent weapon, victim, and location (usually). Around the time of the actual swap, a game is played virtually using AQ Mail, which runs with similar rules to the board game. Each contestant can make a guess that involves a victim, location, and a weapon. If the recipient of the guess knows that one or more of them are not involved, they will respond with information about one of them, and the asker can cross it off of their suspect list. Through the process of elimination, the detectives can determine which victim, weapon, and location were involved in the crime.
One of my favorite LTC swaps that I periodically host is Surprise! In order to take part in the swap, the participants must carve a new stamp and then gift the stamp to someone else as a surprise. The following cards feature some of the stamps that I’ve gifted to other boxers in the past.
The eevil stack represents all of the hazards, hardships, and hindrances that plague letterboxing outings. From stolen stamps to spider-filled pouches, these cards are the obstacles that the boxers must overcome in order to have a grand day out.
Do letterboxers get along with one another? Usually, but not always! In the spirit of friendly competition, some of the available cards allow for a player to attack one or more other players. In the battle for the most finds, some boxers play dirty!
The Outings Stacks are the primary sources of letterboxing bliss. Purchasing these cards adds options and opportunities to your deck, to allow you to have better and better outings (turns) as the game progresses. Are you going to focus on the long hikes and rack up oodles and oodles of miles on your turn? Or will you be an ink fiend who will invest in more and more expensive and productive sources of this messy, yet important, resource?
Letterboxing: The Game is a deck-building game for two to four players. Each player is randomly assigned a Boxer Card, which represents one of the letterboxer archetypes. This card also determines the contents on the player’s starting deck. Throughout the game, players will work to add cards to improve their decks and increase their number of finds.

The only requirement was that they use the stamps in some way — they could use additional stamps, modify a stamped image, and use whatever embellishments that they wanted. The resulting set of cards shows a fantastic array of creative and artistic talent.
On October 2, Frank, a menacing, demonic-looking rabbit with an eerie, hypnotic voice, draws Donnie out of his room to tell him that in 28 days, 6 hours, 42 minutes, and 12 seconds, the world will end.
